Pärnu Motoclubi liige Joosep Pärn (28.02.2006) on mootorrattaga sõitnud alates kolmandast eluaastast. Praeguseks on ta Eesti meister motokrossis, nii 65cc kui 85 cc masinaklassis. 85cc klassis tuli Joosep 2020. aastal ka Soome meistriks, tehes selle saavutusega killukese ajalugu – ta on esimene välismaalane, kes on Soomes 85cc klassi võitnud. Lisaks motokrossile on Joosep ka kolmekordne Eesti jääraja meister.
Joosep alustas oma motokrossi karjääri Paikuse motoklubis ja oma esimese võistluskogemuse sai ta 2010. aastal Äksi noortekrossi 50cc klassis. 2016. aasta suvel kogus ta esimesed Euroopa meistrivõistluste punktid ning juba järgmisel aastal saavutas maailmameistrivõistlustel 17. koha. 2021. aasta hooajast sõidab Joosep 125cc masinaklassis ja on käed löönud uue treeneri, Eesti motokrossi tipptegija Harri Kullasega. 31. juulil Kreekas toimunud maailmameistrivõistlustel tõestas noor sõitja, et tema tulevik on maailma kiiremate krossisõitjate hulgas.
Pärnu Motoclub racer Joosep Pärn (28/02/2006) has been riding motorcycles since he was 3 years old. He is the 65cc and 85cc Estonian champion. In 2020, Joosep also became the 85cc Finnish champion, being the first foreigner to win that class in Finland. In addition to motocross, Joosep is also a three-time Estonian ice racing champion.
Joosep started his motocross career in Paikuse motoclub and entered his first competition in 2010 – Äksi Youth Cup (50cc). In the summer of 2016, he collected his first European Championship points and the following year he was 17th at the Motocross World Championship. Check out Joosep’s accomplishments here.
Starting from 2021, Joosep rides in the 125cc class and has a new coach – the top Estonian motocross rider Harri Kullas. On July 31st, at the World Championship in Greece, Joosep proved once again, that his future is amongst the fastest motocross riders in the world.
